How quickly does the folding e-bike fold?
In around 30 seconds. That is fast enough for everyday use: fold it on the platform, get on the train, ride on when you arrive.
Can I take the folding bike on the train for free?
Folded and packed in a bag, a folding bike counts as hand luggage with SBB and travels free of charge. The Quick Bag or the shoulder carry bag is what makes that practical.
Do I need a driving licence or a licence plate?
No. The folding bike assists up to 25 km/h and therefore counts as a slow e-bike: from 16 without a licence, from 14 with category M, no licence plate, no helmet requirement (helmet recommended).
How far can I go on one battery charge?
Up to 80 km, depending on the assistance mode, weight and terrain. With an original spare battery you can double the range for long tours.
