Sleeping in a tent: How to choose the right mat and sleeping bag

The inflatable camping mat is available in single and double versions. It insulates against cold ground and packs down small. The flannel blanket sleeping bag is designed for three seasons and can be zipped together: two sleeping bags can be joined to make a double blanket. The extreme limit of minus 20 degrees is a boundary value; you’ll sleep comfortably in it from spring through fall.

Frequently asked questions

Which awning fits my vehicle?
The opening decides: for vans and campers with a sliding door the bus awning is the right one, for SUVs and estates with a tailgate the car awning. Both are free-standing too, so you can drive off and leave the tent where it is.
What does a water column of 3000 mm mean?
The water column shows how much water pressure a tent fabric withstands before it lets water through. From 1500 mm a tent counts as waterproof, 3000 mm give a solid reserve for continuous rain and wind. All TWHEELS tents reach 3000 mm.
What temperatures is a 3-season sleeping bag good for?
For spring, summer and autumn. The stated extreme value of minus 20 degrees is a limit for emergencies, not a comfort promise. For cosy nights, go by the comfort range, which is well above the extreme value.
Can I also use the awnings without a vehicle?
Yes. The bus awning and the car awning are built free-standing. You can dock them onto the vehicle or leave them as a stand-alone tent at the campsite, for example when you take the car on a day trip.
What about returns and warranty?
As with all TWHEELS products, 120 days right of exchange and 2 years warranty apply. Shipping goes out from a Swiss warehouse, and for questions the support team helps in German, French, Italian and English.
