Is the balance board suitable for children?

The board is finished with oil certified according to EN 71-3 (the toy safety standard), making it safe for children as well. For use by children, we recommend adult supervision.

How do I properly care for the product?

The board is made of maple wood, and the roller is made of cork. With proper care, both will remain in good condition for a long time.

  • Wipe dry: Clean the board and roller after training with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Never wipe them soaking wet, and do not leave any water standing.
  • Keep the rolling surface clean: Keep the underside of the board and the roller free from dust and dirt to ensure smooth movement.
  • Care for the wood: Treat the board with a little wood oil or wax once or twice a year. This keeps the maple wood protected.
  • Check the screws: Check the screws on the stopper regularly and tighten them slightly if necessary.
  • Store in a dry place: Store the board and roller in a dry place; do not keep them permanently in damp rooms such as a basement or bathroom.
  • No harsh cleaners: Avoid solvents and aggressive cleaning products; a mild, damp cloth is all you need.
