How long does the assembly take?
- Our e-bikes are 90% pre-assembled. Only the pedals need to be screwed on & possibly the mudguard. On average, it takes about 15 minutes for one person to assemble.
How can I charge the battery?
- The battery is built into the seat post and can be removed; it can be charged at any household outlet. However, it is also possible to charge directly on the e-bike.
Can the e-bike be ridden in the rain?
- Yes, the e-bike can be ridden in the rain.
Can the e-bike be ridden without motor assistance?
Yes, the e-bike can be operated in 3 riding modes:
- With a throttle like a small motorcycle (20 km/h)
- With pedal assistance like a classic e-bike (up to 25 km/h)
- Without motor assistance like a normal folding bike
Can a trailer be mounted or is there a compatible luggage rack?
- Yes, you can easily attach a trailer, and soon we will also offer a compatible luggage rack for the e-bike as a purchase option.
Do I need insurance for my e-bike?
No, insurance is not mandatory in Switzerland.
Theft insurance: If your e-bike is stolen despite a lock, certain home insurance providers can help. Also, make sure this case is covered by your insurance.
