Walking Pad for Your Desk: Get Your Steps In While Working

Eight hours of sitting can’t be offset by a sporty weekend. The more effective solution is to move while working: use a Walking Pad under a height-adjustable desk. The Right Setup

The oak Walking Pad runs at around 45 decibels, quieter than a normal conversation, so no one on your video call will hear it. The electric height-adjustable desk adjusts from 75 to 120 cm and, with a Walking Pad underneath, provides the right working height for people up to around 180 cm tall. The easiest way to get started is with the Ergonomics Bundle, which combines both. Frequently asked questions

Can I really work while walking on the Walking Pad?
Yes. At 2 to 4 km/h, emails, calls and reading work without any problem, you only stop briefly for precision work. Most users switch between sitting, standing and walking over the course of the day.
Can you hear the Walking Pad on a video call?
No. At around 45 decibels the machine stays at quiet room volume, quieter than a normal conversation. The microphone mainly picks up your voice, not the treadmill.
How high does the desk have to be for a Walking Pad?
Take your usual standing working height and add the height of the pad. The TWHEELS Bürotisch goes up to 120 cm and, with a Walking Pad underneath, gives the right working height for a body height of up to around 180 cm.
How many steps can I get in at my desk?
Walking slowly for two to three hours a day adds up to 6'000 to 12'000 steps depending on your pace, with no extra time spent.
