Proper care keeps the awning waterproof for many seasons. The most important point: never pack it away while damp.

• Always pack it away dry: Allow the awning to dry completely before storing it. Packing it away while damp causes mould and damages the coating.
• Clean with water only: Wash off dirt with clean water, a soft sponge and, if necessary, a mild cleaner. No washing machine, harsh cleaning agents or fabric softener.
• Care for the zippers: Rinse sand and dirt out of the zippers so they run smoothly and do not tear.
• Check the poles and pegs: Inspect the fibreglass poles for cracks after every setup, keep the pegs straight, and store everything clean and dry.
• Reproof when necessary: If water no longer beads off, treat the dry outer material with an impregnation spray for polyester tents to maintain its waterproof rating.
• Store in a cool, dry place: Once clean, store it in the carry bag in a dry place. Do not leave it in direct sunlight for extended periods.
