Frequently asked questions

Who are Pilates props suitable for?
For all levels. Beginners use the ball and the ring for feedback and support, advanced users make familiar exercises considerably more intense with the bands and the ring.
What is the difference between the ring and the band?
The ring gives you a fixed resistance to press against, ideal for inner thighs and chest. The bands work under tension and get stronger towards the end of the movement, ideal for hips and glutes.
How often should I train?
Two to four short sessions per week do more than one long one. Many exercises on this page take only a few minutes and combine well.
Does the kit replace the Reformer?
It complements it. The props train the same principles on the mat and fit into any bag. If you want to go deeper, the Reformer offers guided resistance for the whole body.
