The carbon belt drive requires no chain, so no lubrication is needed. This keeps rusty chains at bay and your trousers and skirts clean.

The e-bike uses reliable Samsung battery cells. Unlike most e-bikes, which have removable batteries in the frame, the saddle battery is easy to access and can be conveniently removed without having to lift or awkwardly maneuver the bike.

Slow e-bikes in Switzerland may provide electric assistance up to 25 km/h and do not require a license plate. Lights are also mandatory during the day.

Pedal assistance goes up to 25 km/h, and there is also a scooter mode up to 20 km/h with no pedaling required. Motor assistance is legally limited to 25 km/h; above that speed, you continue pedaling without motor support.
In most cases, there is no defect. First, check three things: Is the pedal assistance set to the highest level? Are the brake discs running freely without rubbing? Are the tires properly inflated? No, the E-Bike City Classic can be ridden in Switzerland without a license plate or a driver’s license.
The carbon belt runs quietly, requires no oil, and needs significantly less maintenance than a chain. No dirty trouser legs and hardly any upkeep.
The battery is housed in the seat post and can be removed. You can conveniently charge it indoors. The range is up to 80 km.

No. Insurance is not mandatory in Switzerland.
