How do I properly care for the product?

Your indoor bike is made of genuine oak wood. Care for it like a high-quality piece of furniture, and it will stay beautiful for a long time.

  • After every workout: Immediately wipe sweat off the wood and frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Sweat can damage the surface if it is left on it.
  • Clean dry: Wipe the wood with a barely damp cloth only—never soaking wet. Do not leave any water standing, and do not use harsh cleaners or solvents.
  • Care for the wood: Treat it once or twice a year with a small amount of wood oil or wax. This protects it from drying out and keeps the grain looking fresh.
  • Check the screws: Check all screw connections every few weeks and tighten them if necessary. This keeps the bike stable and quiet.
  • Position it correctly: Do not keep the bike permanently in damp rooms or directly in hot air from a heater. A dry, temperature-controlled location helps protect the wood.
