How do I properly care for the product?

Your awning will last a long time if you store it clean and, above all, completely dry. This is the most important rule for preventing mould and mildew stains.

  • Always pack it away dry: Let the tent dry completely before storing it, including the seams and the floor. Damp fabric in the carrying bag can develop mould within days.
  • Clean with water only: Wipe off dirt with lukewarm water, a soft cloth and, if necessary, a mild cleaner. No washing machine, harsh cleaners or fabric softener—these can damage the coating.
  • Care for the zippers: Keep them free of sand and dust so they run smoothly and do not tear out.
  • Wipe down the poles: Clean the fiberglass poles with water and a soft cloth, then dry them before packing them away.
  • Re-impregnate as needed: If water no longer beads off but instead soaks into the fabric, restore its water repellency with a tent waterproofing spray.
  • Check the pegs and guy lines: Before every setup, inspect the pegs and guy lines for damage and replace worn parts in good time.
