How do I properly care for the product?

Your awning will last a long time if you store it clean and, above all, completely dry. This is the most important rule against mold and mildew stains.

  • Always pack dry: Let the tent dry completely before storing, including the seams and the floor. Damp fabric in the storage bag will develop mold within days.
  • Clean only with water: Wipe off dirt with lukewarm water, a soft cloth, and mild cleaner if needed. No washing machine, no harsh cleaners, and no fabric softener, as these damage the coating.
  • Care for zippers: Keep them free of sand and dust so they run smoothly and don’t tear.
  • Wipe down poles: Clean the fiberglass poles with water and a soft cloth and dry them before packing.
  • Re-impregnate if needed: If water no longer beads off but soaks into the fabric, refresh the water protection with a tent waterproofing spray.
  • Check pegs and guy lines: Before each setup, inspect pegs and guy lines for damage and replace worn parts in time.
