How long does the setup take?
- Our e-scooters are 90% pre-assembled. You only need to attach the handlebar grips, then you can start riding.
Up to what incline can I use the scooter?
- The TWHEELS scooter can be used on road inclines of up to 21%.
How can I charge the battery?
- With our e-scooter, you can easily remove the battery from the T-bar, so you don’t have to carry the entire scooter around. However, it is also possible to charge it directly on the scooter.
Can the e-scooter be ridden in the rain?
- Yes, the e-scooter can be ridden in the rain.
Do I need insurance for my e-scooter?
- No. In Switzerland, insurance is not mandatory.
Theft insurance: If your e-scooter is stolen despite having a lock, some home insurance providers may cover this. Also, make sure to check whether this case is covered by your insurance.
What is the minimum age for riding an e-scooter?
- E-scooters may be ridden from a minimum age of 14 with a category M driver's license. Without a driver's license, riding an e-scooter is only allowed from the age of 16.
How do I register an e-scooter?
- Can be ridden like a regular bike without a license plate!
Is there a helmet requirement?
Wearing a helmet is not legally mandatory. However, we recommend that you wear a helmet for your safety while riding.
Am I allowed to take my e-scooter on public transportation?
- In general, public transport providers allow folding e-scooters to be carried as free hand luggage.
