How long does the setup take?
- Our e-bikes are 90% pre-assembled. Only the pedals need to be screwed on and possibly the fender. On average, it takes a person about 15 minutes to assemble.
How can I charge the battery?
- The battery is built into the seat post and can be removed; it can be charged at any household power outlet. However, it is also possible to charge it directly on the e-bike.
Can the e-bike be ridden in the rain?
- Yes, the e-bike can be ridden in the rain.
Can the e-bike be ridden without motor assistance?
Yes, the e-bike can be operated in 3 riding modes:
- With a throttle like a small motorcycle (20 km/h)
- With pedal assist like a classic e-bike (up to 25 km/h)
- Without motor assistance like a regular folding bike
Can a trailer be attached, or is there a compatible luggage rack?
- Yes, you can easily attach a trailer, and in the near future, we will also offer a compatible luggage rack for the e-bike as a purchase option.
Do I need insurance for my e-bike?
No, insurance is not mandatory in Switzerland.
Theft insurance: Is your e-bike stolen despite having a lock? A home insurance policy from certain providers can help here. Also, make sure that this case is covered by your insurance.
Care & Maintenance of the E-Bike
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the e-bike regularly with a mild detergent and water. However, avoid using high-pressure cleaners, as they can damage the electronics.
- Check Tire Pressure: Regularly check the tire pressure and inflate them if necessary. This ensures safe and efficient operation.
- Chain Maintenance: Regularly inspect the condition of the chain and lubricate it as needed. A well-lubricated chain extends the drivetrain's lifespan and provides a smooth riding experience.
- Brake Maintenance: Make sure the brakes always function properly and adjust them if necessary. Regularly check the brake pads and replace them when needed.
- Battery Care: Charge the battery only with the charger recommended by the manufacturer and store it in a dry, cool place if needed. Be sure to regularly discharge and recharge the battery to extend its lifespan.
- Storage: If you won’t be using the e-bike for an extended period, store it in a dry, cool place. Remove the battery and store it separately.
